Conserving Coniston & Crake NLHF Project
This project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund was established with the aim to help protect, monitor and restore the freshwater environment of Coniston Water, the River Crake and the wider catchment area, through a programme of conservation, community engagement and education.
The project came to an end in March 2021 after beginning in June 2017. Initiated by the Coniston and Crake Catchment Partnership, the project was manged by South Cumbria Rivers Trust. You can find an overview of the project here: Coniston and Crake Story Map.
