Fight the Aliens – Big Balsam Bash is back for yet another year!

‘Balsam Bashing’ refers to pulling Himalayan Balsam, an invasive non-native species, from the ground to stop it spreading.

We have teamed up with Friends of the Lake District (FOLD) to run the event and with your help, we can really make a difference to the landscape of South Cumbria and give native species a chance to thrive. You will be provided with all the equipment you need, PLUS there will be tea and cake for afterwards! Find out more information on the FOLD website here:
