Some exciting news…South Cumbria Rivers Trust, in partnership with Groundwork; Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside are finalists for the Tesco Bags of Help centenary grant!
If we succeed, we could win up to £25,000 for our project; LOVE MY RIVER-PASS ON PLASTIC.
BUT, we cannot do this without you. With the help of a little token, you can vote for us in stores across Cumbria and Lancashire until 31st December 2019. Our project, Love my River – Pass on Plastic will help us to support school groups and local community volunteers tackle the plastic pollution problem along the waterways of Cumbria and Lancashire. We will be running 24 workshops with practical intervention sessions, aiming to improve the environment by improving the underlying water quality and pollution that runs through communities.
Please support us and VOTE for us in your local store. To vote, you will need to make a purchase within store of any value. You will receive one token per transaction and it’s not necessary to purchase a carrier bag in order to receive a token.
Take a look at the Bags of Help website for further information about the vote: www.tesco.com/bagsofhelp
Thanks for your help!
