Well, it’s the end of an era…OR eight years to be exact! Jayne Wilkinson, our Strategic Partnerships Manager is moving onto pastures new mid August.
Jayne joined SCRT in 2015 as a catchment planning and delivery officer. She has worked hard to develop the riverfly training and electrofishing programmes, both successful monitoring programmes for SCRT, as well as working on a number of different projects including Elterwater and most recently the Love Windermere Partnership.
Championing the Catchment Based Approach (CaBA) and partnership working in South Cumbria, Jayne has organised and chaired the local catchment partnership (BeckstoBay) on behalf of SCRT for many years. Jayne became Strategic Partnerships Manager early 2023.
You will be missed Jayne. We wish you all the best in your new role for the National Parks Partnership.
Having worked with the majority of our volunteers, we are having a farewell to Jayne/Thank you to our volunteers BBQ at the SCRT offices on Friday 11th August from 2:30 – 4:30. Everyone who has volunteered for SCRT is welcome. Please just let us know if you are hoping to attend, so we can make the appropriate food provision (E-mail: admin@scrt.co.uk).
