With a background in freshwater fish, their parasites, health and diseases; Roger Sweeting BSc PhD FIFM FLS CEnv. Historically in Thames Water, the National Rivers Authority and the Environment Agency he worked on the effects of water quality changes on aquatic communities. Following this, Roger then worked for 8 years as the Chief Executive of the Freshwater Biological Association. He remains an Honorary Research Fellow at the Freshwater Biological Association and he is involved in a restoration programme for the endangered freshwater pearl mussel.
