Our project to restore a modified section of Little Langdale beck at Colwith has now been completed! 275 metres of revetment has been removed and the bank regraded to achieve a more gentle profile. This will help slow the flow, reconnect the river to its natural floodplain and improve conditions within the riverbed. The photographs on the left show the revetment wall before and during works. Those on the right show the change in bank profile.
